We live in a busy world where people can get lost in the crowd… What
would it look like if the teenagers in our community were not a
number but known by somebody? What would it look like if the
teenagers in our community could hurt, and someone would listen?
We want students to be known and cared for by other students and
adults. We want to give youth an opportunity to form deep, authentic
relationships with peers and adults. We want students to know what
it means to follow Christ. We want students to see adults who love
Jesus.
A power surge is when there is a burst or spike of power. Our hope
is that our Wednesday night small group ministry, SURGE, provides a
Spiritual spike in the lives of our youth. Surge—Significant,
Unwavering, Relationships built though Godly Encounters.
The evening
will begin in the Christian Life Center with an all-church free meal at 5:30 pm.
The youth will go to their SURGE Groups from 6:00 p.m. until 7:15
p.m.
